Neal at the OBX
(page 3)
This page has a few more golf pictures and some other miscellaneous OBX pictures.... BUT, knowing Neal, you know that no visit to anyplace would be complete without a visit to the local fire department to check out their apparatus.  Neal was always a kid in heaven when we went togother fire departments, he'd start talking about Pierce this, and Pumper that, and look at all the (what I call gauges), he had another name for them.  I have quite a few pictures of him in his element in the OBX.  He so desperately wanted to take a summer and run there....  Just once to get the experience.  He was impressed with their crews, apparatus, and even the long 70 minute transport most EMS teams had to make to Chesapeake or Elizabeth City because there is no hospital in the OBX.  I have quite a few of those, so, I'll put one or two here, and some others on the Fire/EMS page.
