We had a check-up on July 18th .. and all is well. We are progressing along nicely. We did a third ultrasound on July 19th .... just a partial ... they were having difficulty getting Ashleigh to get in the right position to get a clear shot of all 4 chambers of her heart. FINALLY.... my "stubborn, temperamental child" (as the doctor called her) decided to cooperate and all is good!! Ashleigh won't inherit Mommy's broken heart (Because it was only a partial ultrasound ... we still didn't get a new picture) :-( BUT -- They did tell me Ashleigh didn't sprout any new organs .... so she's still a little girl....

We are now 32 weeks pregnant as of Saturday 7/28. ... since they tell me we're still on track development wise, I'm going to have to give you estimates on how big our little girl is now ... according to book after book ... she's weighs about 4 pounds and is about 18 inches long... WOW... I didn't know that. Next week it says she'll weigh about 4.5 lbs and will be about 19" long... And to expect her to gain at least 1/2 lb a week until the end .... that makes her a 8.5lbr!! OH MY... labor is not going to be pleasant is it???????? OH well .... it'll be worth it....

Mommy had a yucky time with the heat and humidity over the past few weeks ... but is dealing with it well. Ashleigh is still kicking up a storm ... and kicking me while I sleep just like dear-old-dad used to do. I've been playing recordings I have of Neal's voice for Ashleigh and I think she's decided she needs to carry on his kick me while I sleep habits!~~ but other than that.... I'm hanging in there and so is Ashleigh. We both still miss Daddy's loving touches....

We go back on August 2nd and 16th for my regular check-ups and then we actually start going weekly until our precious little girl comes to join us. Only 8 weeks till due date!!! Hard to believe Nealy has been gone for 19 weeks. Will keep you all posted!! Be safe....
