Baby Update Space:
Written: August 16th... 5 Months after Daddy went to Heaven
We had a check-up today... and all continues to be well. We are progressing along nicely. The doctor told me today Ashleigh is somewhere between 5 1/2 and 6 pounds!! She's grown a lot in the past few weeks. She's about 20 inches long. So!! We're doing pretty good :-)
On Saturday, August 18th, we will be 35 weeks pregnant. Unfortunately, her picture isn't that good, mainly because she's too big to fit on the screen now. Looking left to right, is her head (and if you look closely, you can see her cute little pug nose and chin!!); The rest of her is body. The black line across the middle of her body is the umbilical cord. Her arms are in there too, but they really didn't come out well when I scanned it in.
Ashleigh is still kicking up a storm and it's actually starting to seriously hurt sometimes. I'm still hanging in there and so is Ashleigh. We both still miss Daddy's loving touches....
My mother did a great job with the nursery. I'll take some pictures this weekend and get them up here. Needless to say, the nursery is done in Pooh. :-) We even have Daddy in the balloons!! (THANKS MOM!!) My mom and I went NUTS on clothes... Ashleigh has clothes to wear all the way through at least early to mid next summer!!
We are now on weekly appointments until our precious little girl comes to join us. I don't know how often I'll update this page other than nursery stuff in the meantime though. We will be definitely adding pictures of Ashleigh Neale as soon as she's born. I have signed up Ashleigh up for a "baby press conference" at babypressconference.com for sometime in the 24 hours after her arrival. You have to be included on the E-mail list, so if you don't receive an invitation from me in the next week or so, please E-mail me and I will add you in.
Only 5 weeks till due date!!! Hard to believe Nealy has been gone for almost 22 weeks.
