Within the first week, Neal and I had decided we were going to get married. We even set our wedding date... April 21, 2001. He asked me to marry him just over a month after we met. We even got virtually married on November 21st, 1999 on our 2 month anniversary.

So time went on, and we went through our first Corporate Dinner, Thanksgiving, and Christmas together. He made out on Christmas.... But then, so did I. :-) I was having my first Christmas with my soul mate and it was a pretty spectacular event...

I moved to Manassas the 23rd February of 2000, and Neal and I determined we were too far away from each other. He moved to Manassas in the 17th of March. He started working for Professional Ambulance Service in late-March as an EMT.

Neal and I continued on through life ... sometimes finding it very difficult to be living together. Primarily, because I had lived alone for 6 years and he had always lived with family. Eventually, we made all the required adjustments and decided we were going to make it after all. We did lots of fun things during that time ... like going to the Outer Banks (OBX) and little road trips between just us. Those pictures are on the OBX page. We started making plans for our big wedding in April 2001 on the beaches of the Outer Banks and our honeymoon to Disney World (Neal had never been) and Italy.

New Years... oh my... New Years!! You wouldn't believe what he did!! (and no.. not that)... I had to work, so I worked from his parents house (remember Y2K?) He made me a cake and decorated it all nice and pretty.... but... um... it was just as hard as a rock because my little angel forgot to put the water in it!! And he even said he wondered why it was so hard to stir!! And believe me... that was weird of him... because he was a GREAT cook!
